I've been cooped up inside and pretty much out of commission for way too much time this winter. Slowly feeling better and the weather was beautiful last weekend and I just had to get out of the house. Mostly just exploring, but did find some rocks and got out and wandered around a little. Just never really know what you'll find out messing around. Just a scenery shot. Triassic red beds (Chugwater Formation). The white caprock on the top is Gypsum Springs Formation. This guy is still out there. Laid my hammer beside it for scale but like a dummy didn't get the hammer in the picture. I'm not supposed to lift over 8 lbs. for another month or so and this rock weighs several times that. Try and get back up there and dig it out this summer. Me out trying to wander around. Hopefully I can get rid of that oxygen tank in a couple of weeks. I'm getting around kind of slow, but getting around a little. We did bring a few rocks home, they're still in the pickup. I'll get them rinsed off today and put up a few pics later. Thanks for looking. Russ

Beautiful pics, and glad you were enjoying a day out, nowyo! This guy is still out there. Laid my hammer beside it for scale but like a dummy didn't get the hammer in the picture. ROFL! Hoping it won't be long so you can go back to collect that monster!
