Here is a slab that I got this weekend at the Roseville, CA show. It is very unusual in that there is a transparent band with flames at the bottom. Bob Front lit: Back lit:

That is cool! I've never seen that before either. Did the guy you purchase it from say whether this is from a newly found source or just an anomaly from an old source? Larry C.

Very neat! Also have never seen tiger eye like this before. Did the seller know where it was from?

The seller found it in a lot of rough tiger eye that he bought quite a while ago. The lot was mostly variegated tiger eye but no idea if this particular piece was from any special place. Bob

They call that Vurklip. Tigereye in clear quartz - neat stuff! "Vurklip?" It deserves a much nicer name. Rich
