about 4 hours away, but looks complete and not too worn. I can't tell from the photos what brand names these are, and have no clue what I am looking at, but if you all think its not junk maybe you could guide me and suggest an offering price for the setup? No suggested value is given. thanks for any insights you can offer. The collective knowledge on this forum is formidable!

I like that saw. It's probably not great for cutting slabs, but it would be awesome for cutting Petoskey stones into shapes, ilke the Michigan cut outs I make. What's cool is that the blade is perpendicular to the table so that it cuts the top and bottom the same. With my saw, the arbor us under the table so the bottom of the blade cuts deeper than the top. I fix the problem by clamping a ramp onto my table so I I'm pushing my slab toward the center of the blade. I have no idea if that makes any sense. I also don't know about the quality of the saw. I can't tell what brand it is,

Looks like an old Star Diamond arbor. Pans are home made out of diamond plate aluminum. I think the hoods are commercial, but can't read the labels. Saw is possibly a Star Diamond too. Looks like a couple of good motors. I'd offer between $300 and $350, and see what they say.
Star Diamond arbors were built good like the Poly arbors were.
I'd loose the plastic cart under it, and build a sturdy bench to mount everything to.

saw is a beacon star. I would happily give a $100 for the saw but that grinder/arbor is not as nice as the star diamond one I got a couple weeks ago for $50. If it were an hour drive I would make him an offer but nothing there is worth the 2.5 hour dive for me.

LOL Chuck, I was wondering if it was one of our guys that got the Star Diamond arbor. I was watching it, but with 4 Poly 8" arbors and a 6" poly, decided I didn't need any more.

Thanks guys, still kicking myself for missing the show where you picked that Star Diamond up Chuck... 4 hours one way might be a bit far... especially if I get there and it seems wonky when it is run. I'll just keep looking. Appreciate the input greatly! deb
