Just finished a batch in the UV-10. This is 98% self collected material from along the river. Not the greatest polish, but getting there. Entire Batch Here are some of my favorites. Montana Agate Clear/carnelian agates Petwood Moss agate and rose quartz? Any idea what the orange one is? Here's some smoky quartz that I tried just for kicks. These are all the broken/chipped points that didn't look good Jasper And my favorite, agatized wood still showing the grain another view

Dang it man, all of those lookin great. And self collected, always more interesting if the tumble master found his own. smokey quartz with no frost burn, well done.

Very, very nice. You certainly have the shine down pat! I also like the fact that I can not see any flaws in your stones, or maybe you just put that side down? Just kidding, anyone who works for a polish like you have would never accept a flaw! Keep it up, we want to see more!

Just kidding, anyone who works for a polish like you have would never accept a flaw! Keep it up, we want to see more! Lol grizman. The stones are certainly not flawless. Some of them never could be due to internal fractures, the quartz especially. so I just ran them in the rotary until I thought they couldn't get any better and finished em off in the vibe. Some I'll probably just use for filler in future batches and see if they improve. I can see why the quality of the rough is so important though.

I would say the orange could be carnelian, if that is anywhere in your area.

Your finish is super. Did you shape the stone in a rotary?
