Good stuff is hard to find and quite pricy these days. The cabs in the pic were cut from some so so material I had squirreled back and a couple of them came out pretty good. I have a very small stash of top shelf material that has no banding at all and is pure translucent gel Please forgive the lousy pic taken with a cell phone. I really, really need to make another light box and start using the camera

Holy cow, those are beautiful. Even with cell phone camera pics. I'll bet they are even more beautiful in person.

Me too! I have a stash, as well. The price keeps getting crazy for the Argentine stuff. I love cabbing rhodo, I love looking at it and working with it. I love to take it to 50k diamond and see the melted glass finish. Gorgeous stuff!

My favorite stone as well, if I had to pick just one. I've never tried 50,000 on it . . . gotta try that!

So beautiful. I remember back in the olden days when I sold it for $3 a pound. Oh well if I'd held it back the price would have crashed like it did for all the materials I did hold back. :-)
You did good.
