Howdy folks, Cut me some slabs while I was working on a walkway in the yard yesterday. Here are a few pics...Mel A couple of poppyish slabs and a nice colorful moss. Only got the one moss slab which is too bad cause I really like the bright colors a lot. ![](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b377/sabre52/Rio%20Grande%20agate%20slabs/DSCN8246_zpszu61oo9u.jpg) And finally some really nice red plume slabs. This could be the most intense red I've ever gotten in Texas plume. ![](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b377/sabre52/Rio%20Grande%20agate%20slabs/DSCN8247_zpsj2lpiwii.jpg) Closer look: ![](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b377/sabre52/Rio%20Grande%20agate%20slabs/DSCN8248_zpsjh5aa1e9.jpg)

OK Mel, I usually try not to show my lack of rock knowledge, but I will never get any "smarter" if I don't ask! I look at you "moss" in the first photo and I honestly have trouble seeing the difference between it and in the Texas Red Plume, photos 2,3. Can you tell me what I should look for to distinguish the two? I can see the dark band going from 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock on the "moss", but the other features look the same to me...HELP, this ol' fellow out!

Nice, nice and, oh yeah, nice!
You're probably going to have to break down and find the time to cab a piece of that plume.
And, we wanna see it!
