Hi, I know this saw has it's lovers and haters. Just not practical for me to use in the garage for simple hobby fun, so I want to sell it. But as it's no longer available, seems hard to price. This version is in excellent shape, has seen very little use, has the trim table and even still has the scoring guide (what was that supposed to be used for?) It'd look even better if I actually cleaned it up. Felker blade had most of the paint on it when I got it, and I cut maybe a half dozen thunder eggs. Original pump, (which did seem under powered for thicker oil I was using) Anyway, I haven't seen any nicer versions. Any thoughts on price range I should ask for it? (Wagon not included Oregon, and It seems prohibitive to ship. Thanks.

Good looking clean saw! Might want to try listing on your local Craigslist. Go high, you can always drop the price. Maybe start at $750? ETA: maybe worth even more since they don't make them anymore? Be prepared for some to lowball you and tell you it's worth $250 or something similarly stupid. Read this thread, especially the last post - rockhoundstation1.net/forum/index.php?topic=645.0

At $500 it would probably sell fairly quick in such good condition. You may be able to get $600-700 if your willing to sit on it for a bit. Offering as local sale only really limits your pool of possible buyers but I would not want to package and ship that thing either.

This saw only appeals to the thunderegg and geode cutters. I would list it for $600 and $400 would be lowest I would sell it for. A site member from the Dalles / Hood River area sold one recently with an asking price of $500. I paid $250 for one of these last year that just needed a new $40 pump and tubing.

As far as shipping goes most towns these days have at least one packing and shipping store. All you have to do is drop the item off and for a nominal fee they will package the item and make shipping arrangements for you. With this particular saw design you might need to remove the motor and have it boxed separately to prevent damage to the arm and base. Larry C.

Put it on ebay auction starting at $500. I've seen many there go for right around $1000! Yours is in excellent shape so should go for top dollar! Shipping? Piece of cake. UPS has those you bring it, we package it deals, just make sure the bidders understand the shipping will be their cost. All you have to do is get it to UPS and let them do all the work. Good Luck!

Thanks everyone. Lots of range there but that's the way of it. May just end up on ebay for the fun of it. I'll clean it up and figure out what to do after the holiday. Gotta post a few pictures of some other fun cuts.
Wagon's for hauling rocks!
