A few months ago I joined per an invitation that, quite frankly, I can't remember from whom.
Anyway, the reason I joined was to gain knowledge and insight to acquire lapidary tools and some useful primers so as to reacquaint myself to rocks of the mineral type.
I am already an accomplished rock musician. Now on to the mineral!
Since joining I have had both hips replaced and am ready for retirement full steam ahead.
This coming week I will be receiving my 6" HiTech slant lap.
Next month I will get a better camera and will be posting my creations. Some of which are with the chrysocolla I acquired from vegasjames.
At present, all my posts and online stuff is done from this broken, heavily damaged," I can't believe this thing still works" Android G3
More to come...

Welcome, your participation is appreciated. I was a drummer in a past existence as well, still play around with hand drums occasionally. Your slant lap thread has pushed me towards a project to turn my vertical 4 station lap into a slanted unit. Looking forward to seeing your creations.

I will be off the grid for a bit...
I don't have satellite technology personally yet but soon... No connectivity in the high desert of Southeastern Oregon BLM...

Welcome to the forum. Hope you have a great experience with everyone here. I live in Utah, and have a good size collection myself, but The cool thing about joining is getting involved in traveling Boxes, trips, and rock exchanges.
