It was sent as a freebie with a bunch of minerals I bought. Guy always sends 2 or 3 freebies. Thought of your hearts as soon as I saw it.

so it was tumbled shined ? was it cut that way?
like the deep V with the backing makes me wonder if I could do a doublet on a heart & try to replicate it

It was just a broken chip before they tumbled it. The dark area at the top is translucent dark agate. Almost black.

that's one cool rock I could see some archaic human presenting it to the gal of his dreams thousands of years ago beginning of rock'n hearts
maybe it how the idea for arrowheads came about?
