Hey Folks! I'm gearing up to attempt to make jasper necklace carvings, simple ones to get started; Arrow heads, shark teeth (tooth). Having not done this before, I'll be using a Dremel tool and Dremel diamond bits, "work bench" will be a piece of sanded plywood and an old terry cloth towel.
Can I use water instead of the oil lube they recommend. Best methods or suggestions for final polish.
Any suggestions will greatly appreciated!

Jasper will be much easier to work with, but the procedure is pretty much the same. Looking forward to your exploits.
