I went out to take pictures of the eclipsed super moon but I forgot my camera. This cost me a 10 minutes s I drove back to get the camera. I knew then… that I had missed the best shot of the moon just rising and closest to the horizon. So I snapped this picture from the driver seat. Luckily my windshield was pretty clean. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v497/stedmo/f2f2f2f2/supermoon40st.jpg) Anther mile down the road and I got this near Papago park. No tri-pod. I don’t think it to bad for hand held. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v497/stedmo/f2f2f2f2/supermoonpapago.jpg) sure other folks got better shots but this is what I accomplished thanks for looking EdMohs

Sure was pretty here in south Texas. We had a bit of cloud cover so it was really red....Mel

Watched it here in SW Mo. took a few pics, but the digital camera had trouble focusing on the zoomed shots. Very little cloud cover, so the view was great.

We were able to see the eclipse only. Looked fuzzy where the black shadow covered the white moon. Brother-in-law says he likes the moon better than the sun because the moon gives light at night when you need it ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

We just watched it-no cameras....The last of the "Four Blood Moons"-pretty cool!!!! In two years we will have a total eclipse of the sun, totally darkness for two minutes!!! I still remember the last one,as if it was yesterday!!!
