Birds in Paradise -- a remote part of the rain forest of New Guinea -- 30+ species seen nowhere else in the world! I only wished that this were a longer, even more informative video. After all, it is the result of nearly a decade of two guys "hanging out" in this rain forest Birds in ParadiseReceived this via an email last week. If you have five and a half minutes to spare, sit down and watch this video. Incredible rain forest birds in New Guinea, awesome plumage and behaviors. Bet you never knew such existed, you'll be glad you watched.

Extraordinary photography and such amazing performances the birds put on. Thanks for posting this. A couple cocktails and maybe dinner (back in the day) seems much easier

MORE! That just piqued my curiosity. Incredible doesn't begin to describe them. And, here I thought your build up was to get us to click the link to some kind of joke. LOL!

Tela, would I do that to you? I thought the video was awesome, just had to share. I think even a non-bird lover (is there such a thing?) would be intrigued.

that is truly incredible! Speciation and mating selectivity to the extreme!!! And to think that for some humans someone only has to buy them a drink, LOL.

i SPENT ALMOST 10 years working in Papua New Guinea. The birds of paradise are amazing to say the least. In The jungles of the Amazon, night time is very noisy. The Jungles of Papua New Guinea were silent to the point of it being scary. Thanks for posting the video.
