Yesterday afternoon Wampidy Jim stopped by with a few slabs he'd cut from rocks we'd found on our little trip a few weeks ago where he said I was trying to kill him. Anyway, one of the rocks that I had handed him was white with dendrites. I hadn't had time to fool with any of it but he got it slabbed and showed it around to I guess a couple of people and it turned out to be opal. He brought me a couple of slabs and I thought I'd share them. other side This slab he had polished and it looks nicer than my photo shows. other side And this is a slab of some of the brecciated stuff that he had cut. Kind of interesting stuff. Thanks again Jim, if you see this. Thanks for looking. Russ
