I am going to be in central and northeastern Nevada for next couple days...
Any ideas where to look and what to look for?

There's pet wood to be found in the Jackpot area.

Nice...That's right on northern border...
Isn't there a place for thundereggs somewhere around there.
I was so young when my parents took me hounding. They were still friends then

Way too far east. I was looking at map. Gerlach looks better but info I found said thundereggs fields are mostly closed.

Was 50 miles north of Quartzite last Jan. Casually stopped a few places on the highway and luckily found some fire agates. The only reason we stopped was a good, safe pull off on the highway. So even if you don't find a pre-determined stoop just get some time walking around and keep your eyes open.
