You all know this, but kids love tumbled rocks. Halloween is coming. I have two bowls to bring to the door for trick or treaters - candy or rocks. Obviously not the best or keepers, but kids have lower standards than I do.
Rocks usually win out.

I used to do that but kids no longer trick or treat in our neighborhood. I think it's passing from fashion because there are too many weirdos out there. I remember some kids used to come three or four times to get more lucky rocks, though! :-)

I finally uploaded a new photo. I hope you can see what it is. This is a silverware chest of drawers. Each drawer holds a display of flat cabs. I guess I really do need to swap, sell, etc. some of these. But right now I still have room to add a few more to my collection. Basically you just buy an older silverware drawer and probably any real silver got melted down when silver was at 40 an ounce so you now use it to store small specimens, tumbles, and cabs. This is drawer no 2 partly open:
