Anyone know where I can get one of these? for a 14" Lortone Panther. A few minutes of internet searching has come up blank.

Amazingly they are not in the Lortone catalog. Take the busted belt to an auto parts or hardware store and tell them you want to replace it. Make sure they give you a fractional horsepower belt and not an automotive belt.

I did but i can't find any way to actually buy one on their site. Just links to dealers, and none of the dealers have them. I think I might have to just take the belt off and go to Granger maybe.

I buy my belts through this outfit. www.vbeltsupply.com/ They're quick shipping with reasonable prices. Just take your broken belt, stretch it out & measure it.

Just give them a call and order it. Part number on web site if you click on saw . 800 number on web site also.

Thanks for the advice, sure enough just called them up and went old school and gave them a credit card number over the phone - no e-commerce for those guys. $11.75 seems kinda steep. I might order a backup from vbeltsupply.com and check them out. Oh well got tons of stuff to run on the trim saw in the mean time.

I'd bet that you'll get 2 belts from vbeltsupply for the price of 1 from Lortone. I recently ordered a 90" belt from them for my Sears lawn tractor. Got a better replacement belt than Sears sells for slightly over 1/3 the price. They sell round belts too for those of us who have vintage machines that took the round belts.

Vbeltsupply might be cheaper, but like in this case do they know what belt you need? Lortone did, sometime you pay a bit more for good service. If you have an old belt you can take it most any ACE hardware and get one.
