I pulled out a batch from the tumbler a couple of weeks ago and despite my questionable photos wanted to show the wide range of stuff that came out of one batch. The center stone is a red agate from the Rio Puerco of New Mexico. Upper left is rhyolite from Mexican beaches near Guaymas, 0900 is a bit of a stalactite from Texas. Upper right is an unknown, but probably rhyolite, and lower right is a black agate from the Rio Puerco. Clearly the harder stuff shined best, and the softer and heterogeneous stuff fared not as well. Here's another photo of same batch. These slabettes of Pet wood from Arizona were also there, and did not shine as much as I would have liked. I need to sort things better and probably need to stay in the polish for a longer period. I get impatient. Thanks for looking. Critics welcomed. Tom
