Found another arrowhead in the San Jacinto River Gravels. It's about 2 1/4" long. I am amazed that an arrowhead be in such good shape after tumbling around with thousands of rocks! Thanks for looking! - Jeremy

My guess is this nice point is a recent addition to the gravels and didn't see much abrasion based on it's well defined edges.

Nice find.Looks like a classic central Texas. Out of Texas root beer flint. That long base and shape would probably be a Texas design, and able to be aged. Bet it is a Darl www.projectilepoints.net/Points/Darl.htmlYou found it dead central of the 'Darl Zone'. Funky long stem makes it stand out, not the most common design. Very few long stems over this way(Adenas). These are from Texas, yours is the same as this type. adena point distribution, common in Ohio and Etowah Georgia, see adena culture. The adena culture likely related to some sick human sacrifices.(good ole southern boys LOL)
