Nice work ed.
Do you flat lap the seam? What grit do you end at?

Thanks Tela ! That blue bell mine materiel some nice stuff and add it to the list that goes seemless
Yo gunnner ! well... I use a flat lap to grind the flats on the heart halves. I usually stop at 220 or 320 on the flat lap, Then do I do some hand lapping just smooth out some errant atoms If that what you meant? As far as sanding the hearts I stop at 3000 and then buff with 8000 diamond paste...mostly
Thanks!!

No, Ed, marbles are round! Actually, I don't know what it is, or even remember where it came from. (Too many rocks, not enough brain cells, lol.) But it sure is purdy!
Great job on all of those little bittys! It is not the size of the heart (cardiobill may beg to differ), but the love that is in it/goes into it that matters.
Keep on rockin'!

Thanks Jean! it sure is pretty material for hearts don't let the clarity of the photo fool you about that seam it actually fairly seamless especially when worn and if someone notice it then well there on a real personal basis with that person I have enough of that marble to maybe make another or I was thinking a combo with a blue or some thing strange like that we shall see,,,
