Here's a few too many that I've finished recently. I shut the Etsy shop down for a while and have been having fun again just making what I felt like working on. I'll probably reopen it in a few weeks when the new year rolls around. There were more but I forced myself to cut it off. Merry Christmas and enjoy if you can stay awake through it lol.
Rare German stick agate
Huge Prudent Man - this thing is like 50mm x 50mm. This came from an ugly wedge-shaped end cut which is why it ended up so large.
Rare variation of Morgan Hill I bought last year in Quartzite. This material looks porous when dry but finishes with an uneven but gorgeous "patchy" shine that can't be captured in a photo. I deeply regret that I only bought a single slab and wish I bought the entire bucket.
Self collected - I'm calling this variation "dragon jasper" haha
We recently went back to Mc Dermitt and collected some more Purple Cow agate.
GYP or Sheep Creek - not sure
This one is huge haha. Sometimes I just can't help myself...
I bought a large slab of red palm recently - this was the only corner of the slab that had a white area. The picture doesn't do it justice - it's beautiful in person.
Woodward Ranch for stoner - I went with the flow of what the rock offered me on this one.
Leopardskin from riverbendlapidary
Blue Biggs
Old-school Crazylace from an endcut. This piece is a horror-show uneven surface and impossible scratches. It's still a beauty in it's own special way haha.
Marfa plume
Burro Creek brecciated
Agatized Morgan Hill
Unknown wood
Dryhead or Teepee?
Amethyst sage premium
Marfa - natural edges
Apache
GYP
tbd
Mexican sagenite
Self-collected N.Cadys Rainbow Plume
tbd
California hematite/jasper
Sagenite - bought as "bird of paradise"
Owyhee
Dallasite bcrockhound
Dino bone from RocknCritter
Willow creek - soft mint green piece I got from roy
Last but not least - I'm told this is from a Lucky Strike thunderegg
Thanks for looking!
