Hahaha, this is great. Vintage for me too! Wonder if they provide the pre-domed cabochons...I have a hard time believing in the "hours" otherwise...months more likely.

Also, I gotta laugh at the "Stroker System." Yeah you can tell this was before the internet was around. You do not want to type "stroker system" into google. lol Chuck

wow.........a matter of hours.....i will pick a couple of these up so I can continue cabbing when the zombie apocalypse comes........ it was the large time commitment that made me not like tumbling rocks......I discovered cabbing several years ago and new that it was something I wanted to do and in time would own my own machine.....around 3 or four years passed before I finally built my own 6 wheeler.....I , like the supposed successful ones in the ad above , had success on my first try......it was a polka dot agate.....its shape was free form and was not particularly inspiring but boy did that baby shine !......I have not pursued the hobby as fervently as many of you but at birthday times or christmas I get the wheels spinning.....it is a really cool thing to be able to cut a decent cab now and then or two or three if the mood hits.....each time I am impressed not so much with my self but at the beauty the earth has for us if we only know where to look and how to bring it out...........no I dont think I will be shopping for a Lortone Stroker any time soon.....but hats off to Micellular for having the patience to do such a nice job polishing by hand !!..............
