From the pic, I'd guess chalcedony but there are a lot of both in that region. There are basalt outcrops along some of the rocky beaches south of there that are full of agate nodules that wind up on many of the beaches and they often have that honey tint to them....Mel

what is the difference between Quartz & Chalcedony ? crystal size/structure?
