So this is my first ever septarian found in Marin County, California. I guess these thing can be extremely fragile, but something was different about this one. It was REALLY dense (size of a large almond with shell) and wouldn't scratch with steel. So I went with my " Rock Spidey senses" and tumble polished it really aggressively with hard agates and 36 grit. This was the result (pulled from the lot after 3 days) after the coarse grind (wet). I LOVE the patterns.

That will be a winner. The veins do not seem like the calcite in normal septarian nodules so you may not experience the normal undercutting. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Trophy. It is both beautiful and a thing of nightmares. Well done.

Didn't think you could do that with Septarians. Great work.
