I was thinking of Miss Micellular when I seen this. Using the diamond wet stone was genius for the first few grinds though. I wonder if you used the grit in a bowl and went around the bottom and sides if you could do a cab. Maybe make a dop stick from an old kitchen aid and you wouldn't even have to hold it, just let it spin. Rube Goldberg would be proud.

Quite clever! I like the idea for the rough grind.
And yeah, I moved about as fast when I was hand-sanding as well. Enough that James asked if should put the dop nail in a drill chuck, hah.
