Well I have gotten 5 of these done in 5 days. So far every one has been a new design. I feel pretty comfortable with the concept. A few more tools would make life a bit easier but isn't that always the case? Self collected Flint Ridge Unakite from Jugglerguy. Still using redneck tools so a nail punch was used for texture. Thanks for looking Chuck

Nice work, Chuck. Those looks really great!!! I've got a long way to go, but I've got some old copper roof flashing I'm thinking of how to utilize...your pieces are inspiring for me in the mean time. Keep it up!!!

Moving right along Chuck. I really like these, especially the textured one.
As far as I'm concerned, how you get the texture is irrelevant. Getting the job done & as nice as that is what counts!

Very nice work Chuck! You are making me want to take the plunge into metals now... as if I don't have enough to do haha.

I haven't commented on any of your new copper pendants because I don't really like this style with all the metal. Your workmanship is good, but I prefer the lighter look of your wire wraps. I'm commenting on these two because they're the first ones I've actually liked. I'm trying to decide what I like more about these two. I think it's the texture on the second one, plus the surrounding copper the copper seems to be there because it has a purpose. On your first few, the copper's only purpose was to hold the stone to the chain. Now, the copper is a decorative element. I think the antiquing helps too.

I really love the second one. The framing and the shape of the prongs with the shape of the stone is great.

Terrific! I like them both, but the textured one is my fav. You are well on your way to mastering these already! Great work.

Great work! I use non-jewelry tools as well. My drywall hole starter makes perfect little textures. I think a big nail would work well, too. Keep it going! I envy your ability with the saw.

Nail sets make awesome texture tools. Not redneck at all. Nice work!

I like where you're going with this. The first one is what I was taught to call a turtle setting. I've played with it a little with repurposed water pipe but you're doing so much better.
