Very nicely done,just got me a Neycraft cent. Caster.just need 220 ran to my kiln and I'm cooking.i must ask,are you a ware wolf hunter?? Dave

Not hunting werewolves:). The ringtail sharps is a request from a good friend for a pendant... I will use heavy gauge wire for the bail.

Getting a good wax model for the bullet proved a challenge also as I kept getting air pockets in the wax... I solved it by squeezing the mold and releasing several times to evacuate the air while the wax was still hot.

I've never seen this process done. Does the wax boil or burn off when casting or does it just run off so you can reuse it?

Looks to me that you might end up with a porus casting on the bullet, the cross section of the bullet is so much larger then the sprue that the the metal in the sprue will freeze before the metal in the bullet will freeze.
