Several weeks back I saw a post where someone had an older model saw, I believe it was a Frantom or Highland Park, that was made for a nine inch blade and was looking for a replacement blade. I've looked for their post and haven't been able to find it so I'm creating a new thread for them in case they are still looking. A seller on eBay has a NOS (new-old-stock) 9" Congo diamond blade. His photos show a few small rust spots on the edges but probably not enough to affect the performance. Considering the rust spots, IMO his asking price is a little on the high side, but these Congo blades were very good blades (produced in the 1960s and 70s)and again just my opinion, were better than any notched rim blade being produced today. Here is a link to the listing: www.ebay.com/itm/141901130377?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D141901130377%26_rdc%3D1I do not know, and am in no way connected to the seller. Hope this helps. Larry C.

Looks new. Price is up to buyer but .040" is thinner than BD/MK only 9" blade with .060" core. I had two people at Tucson ask for 9" blades so I guess I'll have to start stocking them again. When I did shows full time I kept one in stock and sold maybe one per year. Of course if I had a 9" blade there nobody would have asked for one.

Hello John, I know they still make some odd numbered sizes in their continuous rim blades but didn't MK/Barranca stop making 9" notched-rim blades a few years ago? Or have they started back into production? Larry C.

The one I got a few years ago for a 9" HP I had at the time was a 303 so it was continuous. A 303 will work better with a water based coolant IMO

I saw someone selling Chinese 9" blades at Quartzite this year. It may have been Yogi from Johnson Brothers. Lynn
