Looks like petrified wood to me. Bama has good locations for pet wood including fine druzy crystal covered material...Mel

Thanks Mel. I wanted to think pet wood, but I hadn't seen it in white. The "grain" though made me think this. Cool. I need to go back through some of my other rocks. I'm still looking for that nice druzy crystal log.

Those crystal logs are nice Ed. I had one in the garden at the Commiefornia house but of course forgot to bring it to Texas. Forgot a lot of garden rocks. The stupidest thing I did was leave a huge lens of Porterville nephrite jade I had as a stepping stone by our pond. Cannot believe I carried that dang thing down a horrible hill to forget it when I moved *L*.....Mel

Argghhhh!!! That hurts me, too! (Not as bad as smashing my finger with an evil ball-peen hammer, tough!)
Sometimes I guess we're so happy to be leaving somewhere we just get in too big of a hurry. Sad part is...whoever moved in behind you probably doesn't even realize what they have.
