Hoping your hourly wage went high on that one! I love it. Thanks for sharing your success. It makes us all better. I was quite happy with the hourly wage The customers popped back in the shop today and we discussed a rather large (and expensive) Sugilite pendant when they return in May. At the end of the visit, it was pretty neat to hear the guy say "You are now officially our new custom jewelry maker!" eff yeah! Kcuf, I mean he'll yeah!

First all Black credit card I've seen used. sales at the shop go through a central register, so not sure who issued it, but I think the black ones are incredibly high limit cards

Thanks for the info on this thread. I just have to ask one thing.... Is that liquid steel, Devcon? I'm getting ready to buy some. Yes, it is made by Devcon. Pretty hard to find in stores, but available online. Has to come UPS ground as it's deemed "hazardous materials" for some reason. Available in a two part tube like most epoxies, or in a one pound tub. It does have a shelf life of about two years before it hardens This is the stuff I buy. www.tapplastics.com/product/repair_products/adhesives_glues_sealants/plastic_steel/279 There are other devcon products that are similar, so be careful what you buy. I used to get mine from Sante fe Jewelry supply, but they dropped the small tubes

I have some really stellar large tumbles of psilomelane that I want to do this with. I dread cabbing it, though. I understand it makes quite the mess.
