Pretty sure it is for metals, maybe rocks too. Variable speed. Found on Aliexpress for $48 and $78 shipping. Looks like a mean machine 7 pound capacity.

$95 for a single and $125 for a double. American flag on the barrel is an attractive feature "Every Dura-BULL machine is made to work better, made to last and made in the USA." Chuck

Starting to surmise that they are for steel shot and metal finishing. Am impressed with the timer and speed control, heavy 'looking' construction. Do like the controls...fancy stuff

Seems like a durable machine. The clear barrel feature the least important feature. Price and durability key. Look like a winner.

Durability has been mentioned a couple of times. That would be my concern. The transparency is a gimmick imho. Frost and sludge = opaque. Carbide grit + plastic + long term use = spillage imho.

These tumblers are made for mass polishing of jewelry castings as Shotgunner suspected. They're used with stainless steel shot and burnishing compound only, no grit. The transparent barrel isn't a "gimmick." It's designed to allow users to quickly monitor the progress of the burnishing process.

Not all China stuff is junk. Parts may be an issue though. Just thought it should be posted, was impressed with what looks like fine workmanship and efforts on controls.
