I recently tumbled a large number of slabs and beach cobbles from the San Carlos/Guaymas area of Sonora. I may have been pushing the limits of my 4 or 5 lb vibe tumbler with so many flats but they seemed to flourish with lots of smalls that I added for ballast. There is an infinite variety of material in terms of colors and forms of rhyolites - good enough to warrant its own name in my view. I'm toying with Sonoran cloud. Does that sound too much like a white powder that you sniff up your snoozle? Tom Here are some of the similar beach cobbles glued onto wooden stubs in preparation for the saw. And some of the end slabettes sawed from them. A few closer shots of recently sawed slabettes. A couple more ends. Sorry if there is some redundancy here. These rough slabs will be tumbled together with some irregular smaller pieces. Tom

Looks like normal mushroom rhyolite to me, which I have hundreds of pounds.

Those are all lovely. And I'm going to give a 'thumbs up' for the Monsoon.
