Thanks Tela don't know how I overlooked that all these years I also got this really cool microwave plate that fries burgers and I've heard of microwave pressure cookers although if my microwave on past two minutes the electricity shorts out so a 4 minute Stouffers is a trick

You"ll brought back some great memories eating Krystal burgers when I was young and peanuts boiled wet or dry salted peanuts at the baseball games in Jacksonville, Fl. I got to see Hank Arron play when he was young and actually hit a home run. Seems just like yesterday but was 60+ years ago. I can still taste the salt on the peanut shells and probably enjoyed the goobers more than the games.

right on victor ! that was before FL had any major league teams same thing here in AZ I saw Willie Mays play! although as I recall Willie only hit ground ball to the right base side and the first baseman tagged him out actually Willie ran out of the base path to avoid the tag

Jumbos, regular, salted, unsalted, spiced cajun and the rarest of them all-young The best boiled peanut is young peanuts. Costly because of the low yield. Often grown in the backyard by the reddest of redneck connoisseurs. The flavor is in the tender young shell, as they are eaten whole, shell and all. Always private stock and certainly not sold on the street. Better than cheese grits and fried fish throats. There is about 12 levels of southern. It takes a lifetime to experience them all. Once you think you have graduated another level comes along. Next time you guys stop for boiled peanuts, ask the cook if he has any young peanuts. Betcha get a studering retort of guilt out of him. Fish throats-common panhandle Florida, St Mark's east and west 50 miles along coast, Jimmy Buffet territory Young peanuts-SW Georgia Cheese grits- Waycross GA to central Florida, east half of panhandle Florida to old(backwoods/natives) Florida east coast. Baby brother and I with a couple of peanut fed heifers Fernandina Beach FL Little brother holding the fort down
