The product of today's efforts... Interestingly, whilst this was still very hot, I panicked a little and dumped it into the nearest source of water - a tub containing half tumbled chloropal and the fine grindings of many different rocks, from cleaning out the grinder periodically - when, of course, the tiny granules decided to leap off in the fizz and disappear into the mud. After fishing out the bigger pebbles and washing away the fine sediment, I used a gold-pan that I had to hand. Not only did I recover my granules, but a couple of (tiny, tiny) flakes of gold! (Bought in cab) Anyhow, enjoy...

I think the early hour and the reflection is throwing me. It looks like granules on the bottom in the 2nd pic. But no, right? Lovely piece.

Hi icatz - no there are no granules underneath, just reflection. Likewise the bezel profile looks pinched at the base, but its just reflecting the base. Thanks for commenting.

Helluva reflective surface you got there! But it's a really pretty piece. It sort of looks industrial, which is all very hot these days. Thanks for clarification.

Very nice! I like the pictures, too. This has almost an industrial look to it.
