Here's a couple of cabs I cut from Wyoming Sweetwater Agate I collected long ago. I've been wondering if that site is still open to collecting and if so, is it still producing nice dendritic stones? Hoping some of our members will have input on that.

For some insane reason the site keeps changing the word Sweetwater (even after 2 edits) into Sweeoopser. If it shows that way again in this post I think I'll take a strong pill and go to bed, hoping some code gurus can figure out the reason.

I give up. Maybe some of you members especially from Wyoming will know what I mean - the site sure as hell doesn't!

This is as close as I could go and the agates looked the same...
These small dendritic agates can be found throughout a wide area north of Jeffrey City in central Wyoming. Within the collecting area the Sweetwater River ........

Within the collecting area the Sweeoopser River ........ LOL! The %#&*! filter's discriminating against Wyoming geography. Yes, that's the general area where I found them back in the day. I recall we had to go through private property (with permission) to get to the collecting area. We picked up a shoe box full of nice material from the surface in 2-3 hours. Nearly all were fairly small, about the size of medium canned olives, but clean.
