Did you cut that yourself? Stunning! Almost makes me want to slab my chunk which has good color on the outside.

Thanks! Yes, I fell in love with it. I did not cut it. I lucked out at auction. All the pictures looked very true, so I'm not worried about this, at all. I don't know if I will be able to cut it or not....

What an outstanding specimen. For once, I say don't cut.

Another in the don't cut crowd. That would be a beautiful shelf specimen.

That looks like a brain scan after staring at Cathedral Agate. Little pockets of light appear between the grey matter.

I just scored a beautiful slab today. Not as beautiful as yours mind you, but it's still gonna be a shelf sitter. Also scored a 3lb 14oz chunk of cathedral that should get here tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed for what's inside when I start slabbing.

My friggin mouse battery died 4 seconds till the end of the auction. It closed at 14 something!!!!!! Pissed is not the right word. It was pretty sweet. If it's yours now. Congrats!!

Couple pieces I've picked up lately. And what it looks like in the rough.
