After cutting and posting many of the rocks I have found on the San Jacinto River, I have finally finished a batch of rocks! Most of the delay was waiting to purchase a double Lot-o. That thing is a game changer! I can rough grind rocks on one side while polishing on the other! Even after reading the vast amount of great information here, I made some the common rookie mistakes.....not running enough smalls with the abundant flat surfaces that I have...not leaving the rocks in polish long enough....and I need to learn how to photograph shiny rocks, especially without FINGERPRINTS! Anyway, I wouldn't have made it this far without the help of the many RTH Members! Nice batch, Jeremy. You've got lots of super material in there. There's a stretch in there, like 6-9, that are really nice, but 18 is way cool. Keep it up!

Jeremy, there are a ton of really superb specimens. Perhaps the finest first batch ever! Sabre52Mel, WTF is this!?!?!?

Those are some incredible rocks! Numbers 18, 22, and the third from the bottom are my favorites. Awesome moss agates too. Do more, do more!

Including an instrumental post where you didn'the use enough smalls and had dull flat faces. Learning a lot from you! So, you need to dig into that silversmithing to give us more to work on!

Not sure that it deserves that much, but I really appreciate the kind words!!!! I'm pretty sure that rock is a deer hair saginite. Mel would be the person to confirm!

Darn greenhorns are destroy us older hands. Both in finding their own and quality of tumble. And suffer serious jealousy of Jacincto finds. Love the sprays. Love them all. And gets stalagmites at the same time...

Thanks for the show. Again you collect these your self? I sure could use about 50 lbs of mix like that. Just finishing my last batch of RIO GRANDE from sabre52 .
