Found these recently and need help with ID. First is what I think is coral. Now the other one. Both are in my tumble stash.

First one is not coral but rather oolite. It's oolite if the little concretions are .25- 2mm, Pisolite ( fish egg stone) if over 2mm in size. Little ovoids form around a sedimentary particle and usually start as limestone but can be infused with silica to form chert. The other one would probably be classified as a quartz breccia where angular chunks of colorful chert have been re cemented by silica....Mel
