Hi Folks,
Had a good fossicking trip last week, I live in South West Western Australia and there is little to no information on minerals / gemstones / rocks in this part of the state. I came back with a heap of different specimens, the 2 different specimens in the link attached were taken from the same vein in a rock half way up a large hill in a pine forest.
I was hoping it was a type of quartz but with the different colour variables I'm not convinced. I have a HEAP of this stuff at home now and I would like to know what it is before I cut / tumble or whatever with it.

ALSO
I took this sample from a washed out rock wall about 10m over. Im thinking quartz but Im not certain either with it (and a heap more like it) not far from the 1st sample.

When you look at the surface under magnification, do you see any crystal faces at all? Tiny crystals, but absolutely flat crystal faces? Or, does it look like fractured glass. Just lots of very small conchoidal fractures?

All quartz or in quartz family................SCORE!!!!!! Between the clear and the dark samples I took nearly 400kg of specimens home with me, some would be 50mm x 50mm others like the photos below weigh 50kg+... Got a little carried away - but plenty to work on.
Theres another couple of tubs full in a different shed. There are some other random bits and pieces I found in a nearby old quarry in the tubs to the left.
