I pulled this batch out a couple days before deer season, so I didn't have time to take pictures before heading to camp. I finally got around to taking some pictures tonight. I should have another small batch done tomorrow, so I thought I should show these before those. This is a mixed batch from various sources. I made a trade with deserthound a few years ago and a lot of this is from him. There's a lot of brown jasper of some sort here. There are also a couple end cuts or small slabs from ubermenehune that were left over from making guitar picks. I'm sure there are rocks in here from other places too. The two on the left are from ubermenehune . Bits and pieces of Montana agate. Is this Montana agate too?

Nice batch, typical slick shine. Guess that's why you have THE trophy. I like the yellow and red rock smack dab in the middle of your group shot.

Nice batch. I'm having a hard time keeping all my purchases apart. Bought so many mixed boxes of rocks from numerous people on this board. I like the dedication some people have to remembering who they traded/bought from!

I like the dedication some people have to remembering who they traded/bought from! When I remove rocks from the flat rate boxes they come in, I put them in cheap plastic shoe boxes. I've started throwing a scrap of paper in with a the name of the person they came from. It's still hard to keep them all straight though.

I do the same thing (you can kinda see it in my avatar photo). But I get excited and throw a couple of everything in each barrel. Soon I'm all confused again. Oh well, makes for nice mixed batches! I keep saying I'm going to dedicate one barrel, but never get around to it.
