I bought some Turkish emery in a auction very cheap. Looked it up on the internet but was just wanting options from people that have used it. Please let me know what you learned when you used it? or What you have heard about it?
Im looking for 1st hand info.?

It looks just ok a fine powder, a polish. Just got it today in the mail. A auction buy. 3 bucks.

I googled it and it says its corrundum powder. Kingley North sells Turkish Emery polish. It must be 9 on mohs scale might have other rock mixed in with it. Says its what they make emery wheels out of. Any Idea on the grit size?

My guess is it's not as coarse as 500 SC but I don't have 1000. Just got it today and will try it on the lavic. Kingsley says its polish for hard rocks. I will try and we will see.
