Who does Trump pick to replace Scalia?
My short list?
Ted Cruz - strong on principles and isn't wishy washy.
Anybody else?

Your tag line reminded me to stay out of the conversation here. Not informed on this topic. Right? I thought about responding but I'm not well versed at all on who is qualified... I'm just still doing my 2nd Amendment happy dance that it's not HRC that gets to pick! hahahaha There - that's the most political thing I've ever said - and will say - on this board. I like my rocking friends too much to let me political flag fly here

I'll bite. Cruz is good. Mike Lee would be my pick.

Shoot, I wanted Cruz for president but will take him for the court. Anyone who is an originalist as far as the constitution goes and has the principles of Scalia would work for me. As long as it ain't one of them "legislate from the bench living document Commie liberals" who think they know best what the constitution should mean....Mel

All the things that would make Cruz a good justice are the exact reason he needs to stay in the Senate, Kinda wish Trump would appoint McConnel, Paul (Eddie Munster) Ryan, McPain and a few others to key posts just to get them out of Congress, fire them as soon as they're replaced.
