I'm starting to have a backlog.
Anybody use one? I have the single. Any differences in them...other than two barrels?
Do both barrels have to be the same weight?
The motor looks the same.
Also, I need to feed the beast cuz I got a rock tumblin jones. Everybody help me out and sing "rock tumblin jones, he's got a rock tumblin jones, he's got a rock tumblin jones, oh baby oo oo oooo"
Gather no moss... Colin

I don't have the double barrel, but know that txrockhunter does. Maybe he'll get you your answers, anyone else?

I have a single barrel Lot-O and I can't keep it fed with four three-pound barrels and two six-pound barrels. I think I'd rather have two single Lot-Os so I'd have the option of using only one barrel if I wanted to. I know you have to have both barrels full to use it, but I don't know whether they have to be the same weight. I wouldn't think that would be a requirement.

I've got the Double Barrel and love it! I don't know anything different, but couldn't imagine only having a single. I love the ability to have a multiple stages going at the same time. Probably the main reason why I decided against the Ultra Vibe 10.
Sounds like you have enough rough to keep both barrels full, which is a requirement with the double. You'll save $100 buying the double over 2 singles, but give up the opportunity to keep a barrel empty.
I'm running 2-40#, 2-12#, & 2-6# barrels, so I always have lot-o ready material. I separate the Lot-o ready material by flats, rounds, & large rocks, so I can easily build a balanced barrel.
As far as weight goes, I've never thought about it & never had a problem with unbalanced barrels.
Sorry for the scattered thoughts, but hope it helps!
Please let me know if you have any questions......Jeremy

I imagine if you didn't have enough to run both barrels, couldn't you just fill the 2nd barrel with pea gravel or something (ceramic filler?) to balance out the weight and run it?

I ran a double last winter for awhile...(Mine crapped out),borrowed a buddies....(Till I got it repaired)...I liked it a lot, rolled twice as much material....Loaded them as just the same as a single, with each barrel...
