Beautiful batch. #20 looks like something you would see in a modern art museum. Also loving the rutilated quartz.
Edit to add - Are you running your quartz with everything else in rough? Or alone?

Thanks Dave! I have rose and rutilated quartz, amethyst and citrine all running together. These are the early finishers. They hit the Lot O with everything else.

Thanks! That's usually what I run mine with also. I usually toss in a little obsidian in there also. Seems like a nice mix of "might be a good idea to keep away from the agates".

That pet wood I sent you was a mistake. I want it back... Nah. Just kidding. It is really interesting for sure. I believe it was found near Niland, CA and was actually given to me by adam from his infamous California trip a while back. Entire batch is bad ass. I really need some time off to make my tumbler roll. #4 is simply elegant and the other Montana is sweetsauce. I would be proud to have the breccia and of course the amethyst is delicious. Do you keep some on your desk for clients when they visit?

I can see why some like to tumble. Pretty results. Like them all, but really drawn to #20 and to all the rutilated quartz.
Now want to go back and enjoy them again. Thanks.

I went through them 4 times and each time picked a different favorite. Very nice!

Whew those are fine. The exploded breccia is killer. They are all killer. The photography is killer. The big ones came out fine. That big red, about 5-6 ounces ? I need to know. You got a postal scale ? Finished in Lot-O I presume. #11 looks like Texas wood.
Got it dialed in for sure.

It definitely took up some room in the Lot O. #11 does look like a window of Texas wood, it probably is.

Amazing stuff, Randy! 10, 22, whatever 26 is, & all the woods are the favorites! Looks like a photo shoot for "The Rock Tumbling Times"! I've got some of that rutilated quartz in the tumbler.....hope it looks 1/2 as good as yours!!
Just getting ready to post a new batch........you're making me think twice about it! Damn fine work!!!

Thanks, I like that big red tumble also. Got several larger size rocks going now. Not quite jamesp sized, but I'm running them in a regular load. That rutilated quartz I sent is the same stuff pictured here. Looks rough at the start, but most of it is coming out alright. Wish they were a bit larger pieces.
I like number 26, myself. I got several small tumbles out of an end piece of Turkish stick agate from Roger. I think I gave half of it away. Wish I had more, it makes for an interesting tumble.
I love a hand me down box of scraps and end cuts from someone cabbing good material. No waste.
