The lapis lace set is killer. You know I love the rhodo too! Will that jasper go up a gear yet, or is it just more muted?

Have any tips??? Would a polish of some kind work? Not beyond 50k!! Only questions/suggestions would be did you step up gradually all the way? If you missed a (reasonable) step then that might mute the shine. Alternatives would be to dry different materials. Presuming the 50k is diamond, how about AlOx or Cerium Oxide, Zam polishes (or tumble-finish)? Just thinking aloud. Does anyone else have experience of working Martin Jasper might be able to offer help or note that you've got as good as it will go?

My 50k wheel is real bumpy, Nova an I purchased it along with my Genie. Don't know what you mean by diamond. Sorry. I do have ZAM on its way. It is possible I didn't spend enough time on a particular wheel but I use my optivisor with a pretty strong lense. I didn't see any scratches but I am so new that I may not be looking for the correct thing. This is one pic of the rough. I posted several pics under: LocationX3, Rockhounding Saint Martin

You have a 50k wheel? I don't cab, but didn't know they made them.
I thought anything in that range would be a diamond paste on a leather (whatever) buffing pad.

There have been a few times that I went to tin ox after 50k and improved the shine.
Peace, Rich
