Wayne, Those would be good for autofeed on a saw. But not sphere making.

I run seven machines. The first two 50 -60 grit machines run at 197 rpm. The third machine is 600 grit runs at just under 100 rpm and two polishin machines run at 197 and 220 rpms And the last big machine runs at 156 rpm. When I started making balls I had 25 rpm motors and made 2 inchers that took a long time to turn down preforms. The 197 rpm motors turn a three to four inch preform down from ten minutes to two days depending what I'm grinding down. If no one caught it the seventh machine is a adjustable pulley machine I'm tinkering with to diversify speeds on one machine.

I'm going to have a friend show me how to do the pictures. I am not tech savvy. And I miss quoted one of those machines. It should say 177 not 197
