I picked these up last weekend. Most things I could ID, but these few have me stumped. The black/brown....someone mentioned it looked like some type of obsidian. It's got a nice polish on it, straight from the saw, but has that porcelain kind of feel that jaspers have. The red...maybe imperial jasper? I thought it might be an unusual color of willow creek, but another group thought it was probably imperial jasper. I'm pretty sure the multicolored one is morrisonite jasper, which has me stoked since I paid $2 for it. The last one...no idea....some kind of moss agate?

Don't know about the first one. The second, yeah, imperial jasper. The third, quite possibly morrisonite- looks like it, anyway. Last, brecciated jasper/agate. Maybe stone canyon or something similar. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

The first one may be an owhyee or dead camel type...
YMMV!

First one - I have no idea... I'm doubtful on obsidian - knock a small corner off and see if it breaks like glass.
Second is Imperial - no question.
Third "could" be a low grade morrisonite but it could also be other things. The right side half of the slab throws me off. The brown patch on the far right almost resembles an opalized something.
Fourth - brecciated jasper agate that could from a number of locations in the west. With the yellow breccia we always think of Stone Canyon or Stoney Creek but I think the white rind looks wrong for both locations. Could be a one-off piece from the Arizona desert - Burro Creek.
