A question camme up about GemRockAuction n their legitamacy. They're for real n have a better social media than the common social medias. Gems there are for real, you get what you see n bid on. Startinng out there, be patient because I wasn't n blew my whole Monthly budget for my private buying. I belong to major buying group but I like to keep a large private collection. Acccount Recievable renewal can't happen soon enough, got 9 other purchases waiting. Glad they're patient with me. That, my friends, is what sets their site apart ffrom others. Thanks... Shadoflite1

Most good moss agate is at least a little translucent and some very much so. After all, the appearance of moss like filaments in translucent agate is why it's called "moss agate". If it were not translucent, it would be called jasper....Mel

I have gone ahead and removed the poll you posted because all of your answer choices were the same "NO." Not much of a poll if nobody can answer "YES" or "MAYBE" Feel free to post pictures and such and we will be happy to assist you in trying to identify the rock you purchased.

Welcome shadoflite1. I'm not sure where the question of GemRockAuction's authenticity was. I've bought from their site a couple of times, with mixed results, but generally positive. One stone went adrift in the post, which was a shame as I had set my hopes on it for my wife and not found one to equal it since. The seller tried to shy away from their responsibilities. I had paid extra to insure it but they said I had not. Finally the site put things to rights: the transaction and insurance were recorded.
