I did some cabbing yesterday. It poured all day, so I got some outside pictures this morning before it rained again. A couple of these are repeats because they are better pictures. That fabulous bloodstone. There is no crack that is a dividing line of color. the Big Horn again. I am trying to capture the depth of the orbs- layers in clear agate. agua nueva what I think is sonora plume agate Pink limbcast- super nice in person. Will make a great ring. a McDermitt T egg from Tommyimperial jasper- love the green! So pretty. one of my favs- rhodochrosoite- much more pink in person Turkish stick agate That's it for now. Can't wait to cab again! I did all those agates with one geyser working. I like to use 2 under each wheel. One was so clogged that boiling it in vinegar didn't help and neither did soaking it over night in vinegar. My son pulled out the compressor and Wha La! - fixed. Got water now. LOL! Made me feel dumb.

Another fantastic set. I'll choose the imperial as my favorite, but they are all stunning. The sun really shows of the blood stone too.
Peace,
Rich

The bloodstone is beautiful, but I suspect that we're not seeing the depth you mention in the Bighorn on a flat-screen 2d image and that really it steals the show.
