Nice job.
Nowadays I must look like a weirdo; I can't walk past landscaping rocks at businesses without staring at the ground like i'm looking for a lost contact lens or something.

I sure like the colors of the "stolen" rocks...or did they already owe you them for how much they overcharged you?

We found some pretty good pieces in the landscaping at Sleep Inn motel in Bend, OR some years ago. Tumbled them up and took some to our club meeting where we described them as "Sleep Inn" agate. One of the older and very experienced members said "Sleep Inn agate, never heard of the stuff", the explanation got some laughs.

It embarrasses my husband to no-end when I rock hound landscape material around businesses.
Great looking tumbles @wofferhound!

Alabama candy quartzite. Love that stuff. most of that is quarried around Auburn Alabama. I already picked the best out of it. But those are some fine looking rejects. Location and tumbles, select www.flickr.com/photos/67205364@N06/sets/72157662367140412those fine pink/orange/salmon/coral colored one are classic S Alabama quartzite. Pretty sure that is the source. Fine landscape material. Stolen or collected. I can't believe you lifted that out of their flower beds. Have you no shame ? The whole SE corner of middle Alabama has a layer of that fused sand in pebble form. I want to go back, it is a cool territory to collect at. I silver tongued my way onto this guy's ranch. Creek ran almost a mile through his property. He made me analyze the arrowheads he found in the riding ring. He was/is a retired bull rider(late retirement at age 35, makes sense). I sent him and his wife and his 5 year old a box of his his quartzite after i tumbled it. Think I have a lifetime pass now.(value of tumbles)

Not only are they good rocks for tumbling ... but they were already rounded and I started them in 120 grit.
