The top center one seems to be chalcedony replacement but I can't tell if it's just the ends or all the way through.

Great specimens! A few years ago my grandfather passed away and I received his collection of fossils/stone and had no clue what these were, n one is in the bag so it keeps its smell of Arkansas acorns/my grandparents house flic.kr/p/Ujy2fs

Nice finds. Are those calcite crystals inside?

SCORE!!! I hound Baculites in Montana too, have several in my collection....Never know what you will find with those boogers! Do you just polish them or do you cut them length wise too,so show the inner chambers?? The outer sutures are top "Boss" for sure!!! I like doing both!!!!

Nice finds. Are those calcite crystals inside? I think all but the top middle one have calcite crystals. The top center one is different and i'm still trying to figure it out.
Fossilman I haven't tried working with these at all, I just hit them lightly with a water rinse and a soft toothbrush. Might have to try cutting one now just to see what happens

Cool pieces Fossilman. Really like the one in the 3rd pic with the dark lines between the lighter chambers. I see some nice artifacts there too.
I'll have to find some pieces to cut that aren't muddy but don't have good nacre (which I assume would just break off if you cut through it).
